Congenital Muscular Dystrophy

Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD) is a rare and heterogeneous group of neuromuscular disorders with onset at or soon after birth. CMD is characterized by hypotonia, delayed motor development, and progressive weakness. The clinical presentation is variable and can affect other organs, including the eyes, brain, lungs, and heart.
